When I discovered SmellGoods '98 products online, I knew I had stumbled upon something special! The creation of magical mixstress Itiel McVay and her business partner hubbie, these products live up to their name--and then some! One whiff of these lushly scented signature incense oils will leave you mesmerized and overcome with happy feelings! My favorites are Milk & Honey and 12 Tribes! But there are dozens of scents to choose from, so order a few samples and find your own favorite!

The same is true for their luxuriously silky and heavenly-scented body butters! I promise you, I'm not exaggerating! This stuff smells good and feels even better on! Ladies, you'll feel prettier, sexier, and more feminine with each rub, and your special someone WILL NOTICE! Mine did!

A FEW FINE SOAPS

SmellGoods '98 Garden Mint Specialty soap bar is my new love! I also plan to try Sheba in honor of the African Queen herself!

Indigo Wild's Frankincense and Myrhh goat milk soap is gentle and frangrant! You'll keep coming back for more of this one in my absolute favorite scent of all time!

I've been in love with Crabtree & Evelyn's Avocado Oil triple-milled soap for over 10 years now! I discovered it in Madison, WI while attending college and have been hooked ever since! It's gentle, mild, and scented just right!

Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Soap is certified organic and packaged in 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles which makes it a great choice in more ways than one! It leaves my hair and scalp squeaky clean and freshly scented with a hint of peppermint. On occasion, I also like to use the Citrus scent. Be careful though...these potent formulas are great for hair and scalp but shouldn't come in contact with more senstive spaces (hint--steer clear of the bikini zone!

My hair shows off when lavished with this fabulously 'different' pomade aptly named brilliant by maker Aveda. This non-greasy yet emollient finishing gloss is perfect for giving natural, locked, or permed hair a light, healthy shine and enough moisture to keep strands smooth and polished. It also has a wonderful fresh scent! Formulated with rice bran, jojoba, and soybean oils, you'll feel as sparkly and fresh as your tresses when you step out of your door!

Ladies, Alba Sea Weed Cleansing Milk is one of my absolute favorite facial cleansers! My hubbie brought it home for me to try out and I was immediately hooked! This unique formula combines sea lettuce, aloe vera, and almond oil to gently cleanse and moisturize the skin--and it's completey soap-free which is great for my delicate derma. I can't explain how FABULOUS my face feels after using this! You'll have to try it to see for yourself!

Ok, I admit--simple routines are best for me, and I'm not one to do the nightly face care regimen, which is why I love Aveda's Deep Cleansing Herbal Clay Mask. A once-a-week treatment works for me leaving my skin refreshed and free of excess oil. I was introduced to it a few years ago at a local spa and have been a fan ever since. I follow it up with my favorite moisturizer, Alba Sea Moss Moisturizer, next on my list!

Alba's Sea Moss Moisturizer with antioxidants and SPF 15 is my favorite facial moisturizer of the moment (yes, I flip flop on moisturizers, folks--always open to new and improved)! This product works especially well on my sensitive skin and is completely non-greasy, important for one who's prone to blackheads (yucky but true)! My face feels like silk when I'm done and I can certainly live with that!

Two Lotions I love!

I'm a sucker for a creamy body lotion that actually sinks below the surface of the skin! Two of my all-time favorites are Alba's Cocoa Butter Hand & Body Lotion and Bath & Body Works' Tru-Blu Spa 'Lay It On Thick' Shea Body Cream. Either of these beauties will leave you hydrated, smelling lovely and smooth to the touch!

Abundance™ essential oil blend by Young Living is one of my absolute favorite scents! Gifted to me by my good friend Romunda Ings of Ma-Neats Wholistic Therapy, this oil invigorates the senses and creates an aura of well-being in one's immediate surroundings. I like to dab a little on my wrists, behind my ear, and even run a bit through my locs for a lingering impact. Romunda recommends dropping a bit in the corners of each room of one's home along with a prayer of abundance to bring on sweet blessings!

Aura Glow Massage Oils & Skin Oils.  I've been a fan of Aura Glow massage and skin oils for years using them for hair and body care. I love Almond scent for my locs, and Jasmine after a hot shower! The massage oils are a mainstay in my vanity cabinet and a must-have for destressing--and romantic moments with your sweetie!
